Overview
Students in this sequence will apply data science to understanding dynamics of population size and change and to the process of understanding, predicting, and evaluating policy implications. Students with this concentration will be prepared to work for governmental and non-governmental organizations contributing to policy analysis and policy development. Graduates from this sequence might work with employment sectors such as the U.S. Census, federal, state or local governmental analytic positions, public health, the healthcare system, non-profit organizations, or socially-informed “think tanks” or policy institutes.
